Playing cards of the wild west!

My challenge with this project was to make a bicycle-style set of playing cards based on a theme of our choosing.

Westerns and cowboys sprung to mind immediately and I began sketching out each idea for the suits and the king’s court.

I then illustrated each design in Adobe Illustrator and used Adobe Indesign to display them in a six-up layout and finally mocking the cards up in Adobe Photoshop leading to the designs seen below.
